RESOLUTION NO. 82 =60
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING A PARK AND RECREATION
ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did,
pursuant to law, hold a public hearing to review the Park and
j Recreation Element of the General Plan.
' WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood Planning Commission has
reviewed and recommended adoption of the Park and Recreation
Element of the ,General Plan;
WHEREAS, appropriate opportunities for citizen partici-
pation in the drafting of the Park and Recreation Element have
been offered;
WHEREAS, public hearings regarding the Park and Recrea-
tion Element have been conducted in accordance with the Lynwood
City Code and State requirements;
WHEREAS, a Park and Recreation Element, adapted by the
legislative body of the City, is required to implement certain
portions of the Subdivision Map Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
finds and concludes:
Section 1 . That the Park and Recreation Element of the
General Plan, as permitted by Section 65303
of the California Government Code, is hereby
adopted;
Section 2 . That a Negative Declaration has been filed
in compliance with the California Environ-
mental Quality Act. The City Council certi-
fies that it has read and considered the
Negative Declaration.
Passed, approved, and adopted on the 20th day of
April, 1982.
