A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD TO AMEND RESOLUTION NOS. 81 -164 AND 82 -42
MODIFYING FEES FOR CERTAIN BUILDING RELATED PERMITS
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on December 15, 1981 adopt a
Fee Resolution which included a fifty dollar ($50.00) minimum fee for
water heater permits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, on March 16, 1982, adopt
.. Resolution No. 82 -42 amending Resolution No. 81 -164 by:
Reducing Building Department fees for water heaters, sewer caps
and electrical services from fifty dollars ($50.00) to twenty -five
dollars ($25.00); and
2. Adding the following clause to Resolution No. 81 -164 as Part 6
of the section titled "Building Permit Fees /Plan Check Fees ":
Homeowners performing their.own work will be charged
fifty percent (50 %) of the portion of the permit fee
based on valuation. Valuation shall be calculated on
current ICBO evaluation guides for construction.
WHEREAS, City Council has.further reviewed the fee for water
heaters only and finds the fee to be excessive;'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council finds
and concludes:
Section 1 . That Building Department fees for water heaters
only be reduced to twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) from the
present twenty -five dollar ($25.00) fee.
