A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION
AND POSITION PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopted the Employee
Classification and Position Plan on April 6, 1980 and has amended same as needed;
and
WHEREAS, the collection of, and accountability for, monies is deemed a
clerical function required on various levels of some Clerk Typist positions; and
WHEREAS, the current description omits specification of these cashiering
duties, but subsumes them under the category of "related duties "; and
WHEREAS, it is desireable to list distinct duties as much as possible, with-
out being overly detailed, on classification statements,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows:
SECTION l : Amend the Employee Classification and Position Plan to sub-
stitute the attached revised Clerk Typist classification
statement for the current job description.
SECTION 2 : This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of may , 1982.
