A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING THE FY 81 -82 BUDGET AND SALARY
RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
adopted a Budget and Salary Resolution, including salary
schedules for fiscal year 1981 -82, and amended same as needed;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is reviewing the
organization for possible economies; and,
WHEREAS, the elimination of identified positions and
redistribution of assigned work will result in significant
savings, of which a limited amount should be utilized in
special assignment compensation for functions previously
performed by the City Clerk's Office;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. ' Amend the FY 81 -82 Budget to eliminate
the Cashier position in the Accounting Department, and the
hourly Bookkeeper position in the City Clerk's Office -
effective May 10, 1982;
Section 2. Amend the Special Assignment
Compensation Salary Schedule to establish a Council Meetings
Secretary with compensation of $46.15/$100.00 per month;

Section 3. Delete Public Information Officer
position as of May 28, 1982.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
