SPECIAL MEETING
November 21, 2013
The Moab City Council held a Special Joint City/County Council Meeting
on the above date at the Grand County Courthouse, located at 125 East
Center Street, Moab, Utah. Mayor Sakrison called the Special Meeting
to order at 11:30 AM. In attendance were Councilmembers Kirstin
Peterson, Doug McElhaney and Gregg Stucki; City Manager Donna
Metzler, City Recorder/Assistant City Manager Rachel Stenta and
Economic Development Coordinator Kenneth F. Davey. In attendance
for Grand County were Councilmembers Gene Ciarus, Rory Paxman,
Elizabeth Tubbs and Lynn Jackson; Council Administrator Ruth Dillon
and County Clerk Diana Carroll. Eleven (11) members of the audience
were present.
The purpose of the special meeting was a Presentation of the Initial
Community Vision of Future Uses of the Atlas Mill Site by Russ Von Koch
for the Moab Tailings Project Steering Committee, Site Futures
Committee. Discussion followed.
Mayor Sakrison adjourned the Special Meeting at 1:05 PM.
