A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING AN AMENDED CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AND THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FOR
YEAR EIGHT COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
AND FUNDS FROM PRIOR PROGRAM YEARS.
WHEREAS, on November 10, 1981, the City entered into an
Agreement with the County of Los Angeles regarding cooperation in
undertaking activities authorized by the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974, as amended; and
WHEREAS, on March 14, 1982, the City Council approved
the preparation of an application for eighth year CDBG funds; and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has prepared a Contract
for implementation of eighth year CDBG projects and incorporating
funds from prior program years; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to implement eighth year CDBG
projects and to utilize all available prior years' funds; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the Contract for im-
plementation of eighth year CDBG projects incorporating funds from
prior program years so that the correct amount of prior years'
funding is included.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood, as follows:
Section 1 . That the Contract attached as Exhibit 1
is hereby approved and the Mayor authorized to execute.

of June , 1982.
