PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, The Borough of Carteret Tax Assessor's Office
reviewed the assessed values of Block 6303 Lot 11.012 and
discovered that an assessed value was incorrectly reported in
the 2010 tax duplicate, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor made the necessary adjustment to all
of the subsequent years starting in 2011, to properly reflect
the correct assessment, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that taxes for 2010
be cancelled accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey,
that the Tax Collector cancel and refund the 2010 taxes in the
amount of $4,603.44.
