A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Council has held at least one public hearing
with notice being given pursuant to law regarding an amendment to
the Land Use Element of the General Plan;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has approved the subject
amendment to the General Plan;
WHEREAS, the Director of Community Development has determined
that the amendment to the General Plan will have not significant
effect upon the environment, and a Negative Declaration has been
filed;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby
approves the amendment of the General Plan Map found within the
Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of Lynwood and
attached hereto as Exhibit A and Exhibit B, except that only the
portion of item No. 2 of Exhibit.B from the alley at the end of.
Esther Street.to the southern City limits-shall be deleted.
SECTION 2. A negative Declaration is hereby approved and
certified to be adequate and accurate regarding subject General
Plan amendment.
SECTION 3. The City Council certifies that it has reviewed
said Negative Declaration in connection with the adoption of the
amendment to the General Plan.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1982.
