RESOLUTION NO. 82 -110
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DECLARING CERTAIN FERROUS.AND NON - FERROUS
METAL SUPPLIES TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE SALE THEREOF
WHEREAS, certain ferrous and non - ferrous metal supplies
owned by the City have become surplus, worn out, or otherwise
surplus to the needs of!the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to
sell such ferrous and non - ferrous metal supplies,
NOW, THEREFORE,,the City Council of the City of Lynwood
hereby does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 . The ferrous'and non - ferrous metal supplies
located at the City Maintenance Yard are hereby found and
determined to be surplus to the needs of the City.
SECTION 2. The Director of Public Works /City Engineer
and the Purchasing Officer of the City are hereby authorized
and directed to cause the sale of such ferrous and non - ferrous
metal at such time and in such manner as they may determine to
be_in the best - interest of the City.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
