RESOLUTION NO. 82 -140
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ENFORCE-
MENT OF THE MOBILEHOMES - MANUFACTURED HOUSING ACT.
WHEREAS, on May 15, 1962 the City Council of the City
of Lynwood transferred the enforcement of certain Sections of the
Health and Safety Code to the County of Los Angeles; and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles desires to cancel its
assumption of said enforcement; and
WHEREAS, it would be in -the best interest of the City of
Lynwood to authorize enforcement of the Mobilehomes_ - Manufactured
Housing Act by the City's Building Official; and
WHEREAS, the assumption of said enforcement is expressly
authorized by Section 18300 of the Health and Safety Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood :
does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 . The City Council of the City of Lynwood, pur-
suant to the provisions of Section 18300 of the Health and Safety
Code, does hereby assume responsibility for the enforcement of the
Mobilehomes - Manufactured Housing Act, Part 2, Division 13 of the
Health and Safety Code.
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is directed to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Los Angeles County Health
_ Department and the State of California Housing and Community Develop-
ment Commission.

1982.
