A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE EXCHANGE OF'PROPERTY
NECESSARY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HARRIS
AVENUE UNDERCROSSING FOR THE ROUTE I -105
(CENTURY) FREEWAY,
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood and the State of
California, Department of Transportation, have heretofore
entered into a Freeway Agreement on November 17, 1982,
for the construction of the Route'7 Freeway between the
Paramount City limits at Summerdale Street and the South
Gate City limits at Imperial.Highway and the Route I -105
Freeway between the City limits at Mona Boulevard and
the City limits near Route 7, and
WHEREAS, Water Well No. 10, located at 4150 Fern -
wood Road, must be relocated to clear the land necessary
for the construction of the Harris Avenue Undercrossing
for the I -105 Freeway, and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department
of Transportation, has proposed to acquire,said well site
shown in green in the documents attached hereto, and made
a part thereof, and convey to the City the'replacement
site shown in red in said documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Lynwood as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Grant Deed and right -of -way documents
attached hereto as Exhibit "A ", are hereby,adopted, approved,
and ratified; and,
SECTION 2. The mayor of the City Council of the City of
Lynwood is authorized and directed to execute said document
for, and on behalf of the City of Lynwood.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 21st day of
September , 1982.
