RESOLUTION NO. 82 -153
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PLANNING
DIVISIONAS THE SINGLE ADMINISTRATIVE ENTITY .TO COORDI-
NATE THE REVIEW OF AND PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE STATUS
OF ALL PERMITS FOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS IN THE CITY,
PURSUANT TO ASSEMBLY BILL 941.
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 659L3.3'(AB 941)
mandates that each city or county establish a single administrative
entity to coordinate and provide information on the status of all resi-
dential development permits by January 1, 1963;
WHEREAS, such administrative entity will provide the city with
a streamlined, efficient permit process;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has unanimously agreed to
the implemention of Assembly Bill 941;
The City Council of the City of Lynwood DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
as follows:
SECTION 1. Establishment of a single administrative entity
with respect to residential development permits is in keeping with effec-
tive planning procedures;
SECTION 2. The Planning Division shall be designated as the _
administrative entity to coordinate the permit process;
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified
copy of the Resolution to the Office of Planning and Research, Sacra-
mento, California. '
