A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO
CONTINUE ISSUING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD PERMITS TO MOVE OVERSIZE LOADS OTHER THAN
BUILDINGS UPON CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopted
Resolution No. 82 -149 withdrawing the authority of the Los Angeles
Road Department to issue permits to move houses and other buildings
upon City streets and placing the authority to issue such permits
with the City of Lynwood Building Official; and
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles Road Department has had consider-
able experience issuing for, and on behalf of the City of Lynwood, per-
mits to move other oversize loads, which are not buildings, upon City
of Lynwood streets.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
Section 1 : That the Los Angeles County Road Department is
hereby authorized .to continue issuing, for and on behalf of the City
of Lynwood, permits to move oversize loads, which are not buildings,
upon City streets.
Section 2 : That the provisions of Resolution 82 -149 remain'
otherwise - unaffected and in force.
Section 3 : That the City
