A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
WITH THE LYNWOOD CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood and the Lynwood City Employees Association
met and conferred in good faith, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a Comprehensive
Memorandum of Understanding between the City and the Lynwood City Employees Asso-
ciation, and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding between the City and
the Lynwood City Employees Association does not in::lude the implementation of
State Disability Insurance Program which was agreed to in negotiation, and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding with a specification
of agreement to State Disability Insurance coverage must accompany the application
for elective coverage under Section 710 5 of the Unemployment Insurance Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows
SECTION 1 Amend Article XIII of the Comprehensive Memorandum of Under-
standing between the City of Lynwood and the Lynwood City
Employees Associations to add the following
The City shall implement the State Disability Insurance Program
It is understood that all classifications represented by the
bargaining group shall be covered and that the employees shall
bear the full cost of such disability coverage... .
