A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF
EIGHT THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($8,700)
FROM THE GENERAL FUND /FUND BALANCE FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PURCHASING A MICRO- COMPUTER TO
DEVELOP MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS
WHEREAS, the City Council' has determined that there is a
need to increase staff efficiency by improving information systems
within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency, on November
2, 1982, adopted LRA Resolution No. 82 -37 directing purchase of
a micro - computer with total cost not to exceed $8,700, to develop
management information systems to support redevelopment, block
grant, and City programs; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency agreed to
share the cost of the micro - computer purchase with the City's
General Fund, Block Grant Fund, and Proposition "A" Transit Tax
Fund, if such funding was approved; and
WHEREAS, the County has approved use of Block Grant
Funds to pay for $3,045 (35 %) of the total $8,700;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby resolve as follows:
Sectio 1. That City General Funds shall be used to
pay for an amount not to exceed $2,175 (25 %) of the total $8,700
system cost. -
Section 2 . That the City Manager is authorized to make
the following appropriations:

Section 3 . That the City is to be reimbursed for amounts
expended in excess of its $2,175 (25 %) share of total system costs
as follows:
Lynwood Redevelopment Agency 40% $3,480
Community Development Block Grant 35% $3,045
