A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD GIVING CERTAIN APPROVALS AND AUTHORI-
ZING CERTAIN ACTIONS REQUIREDiIN SUPPORT OF THE
CITY'S EFFORTS IN THE REHABILITATION OF RENTAL
PROPERTIES
WHEREAS, the City has been selected to participate in
HUD's Rental,Rehabilitation Demonstration Program; and
WHEREAS, said selection will significantly expand the
City's rental rehabilitation capabilities; and
WHEREAS, a successful implementation of the Demonstration
Program will allow the City to successfully compete for funds
under HUD's Rental Rehabilitation Program in Fiscal Year 1983;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood, as follows:
That the attached Memorandum of Understanding with HUD
allocating $50,000 in CDBG funds to the Demonstration is approved
and the Mayor is authorized to execute said Memorandum of Under-
standing.
