A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE EMPLOYEE
CLASSIFICATION AND POSITION PLAN
WHEREAS, on April 7, 1981 the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopted
the City of Lynwood Employee Classification and Position Plan and has amended
same as necessary, and
WHEREAS, the attached "proposed" classification statements for Fire Engineer
and Fire Captain clarify the type of experience required for these positions; and
WHEREAS; the Personnel Board and Lynwood Firefighters Association representa-
tive have reviewed the proposed changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows
SECTION 1. Amend the City of Lynwood Employee Classification and Position
Plan to delete the current statements for Fire Engineer and Fire
Captain and include the attached statements labeled "proposed"
for these same classifications.
SECTION 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
