RESOLUTION NO. 83 -17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF $8000 (EIGHT THOUSAND
DOLLARS) FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONTINUING
THE GRAFFITTI REMOVAL PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood recognizes the value of
graffitti removal and the need to continue this worthwhile program, and
WHEREAS, the extent of graffitti in the City of Lynwood is more than
originally estimated at the time the 1982 -83 budget was adopted, and
WHEREAS, At the adjourned City Council Meeting of January 21, 1983,
the City Council directed Staff to prepare a resolution appropriating
$8,000 from the General Fund for the purpose of continuing the Graffitti
Removal program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager
___to. make -the following appropriation:

Community Promotion, Other
Contractual Services
1- 4102 -2202 $8,000
SECTION 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
adoption.
