A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 67 -9,
DESIGNATING CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS AS "STOP
INTERSECTIONS" TO INCLUDE CARLIN AVENUE
AND OAK STREET, LINDEN STREET AT SHIRLEY
AVENUE, AND LAVINIA AVENUE AND POPE AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 . That the following intersections in the
City of Lynwood are designated as "stop intersections" and the
Director of Public Works /City Engineer is hereby authorized to
erect stop signs at all such intersections where, in his opinion,
there is particular danger to motorists and pedestrians crossing
said intersections: East and west approach to Linden Street on
Shirley Avenue; North and south approach to Carlin Avenue on
Oak Street; and north approach to Lavinia Avenue on Pope Avenue.
. SECTION 2 . This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of
February 1983.
