A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 81 -164
(FEE SCHEDULE) TO INCLUDE THE PRORATION OF
FEE FOR DOG LICENSES
WHEREAS, the City Council endeavors to eliminate the growing
number of unlicensed dogs in the City by making it easier for dog owners
-- -- ` — to - secure--1 i censer;' - and
WHEREAS, paying the "total" unprorated license fee by many
residents has created a financial hardship; and
WHEREAS, the prorated fees would influence residents, who become
dog owners in the third or fourth quarter of the licensing year,to purchase
licenses prior to the new licensing year; and
WHEREAS on January 18, 1983, the City Council adopted a prorating
schedule on Resolution 83 -11;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1 . Resolution No. 83 -11 is hereby rescinded.
Section 2 . The Fee Schedule (Resolution No. 81 -164) be amended
to reflect the proration of dog license fees in accordance with the following
formula:

Section 3 . This resolution shall take effect immediately.
