RESOLUTION NO. 83 -33
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did,
after public notification pursuant to law, hold a public hearing
on the proposed amendment;
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully considered all
pertinent testimony offered at the public hearing;
WHEREAS, the Planning Division has determined that the
proposed amendment will have no significant effect upon the
environment and has issued a Negative Declaration;
WHEREAS, staff has recommended that portions of the
General Plan Map be amended so that it more closely conforms to
existing land use, existing zoning, and proposed future land use.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . The City Council hereby finds and concludes
that the proposed amendment to the General Plan Map would be
appropriate in the manner and locations proposed and would not be
injurious to the City or surrounding properties.
Section 2 . The City Council hereby recommends adoption
of an amendment to the General Plan Map found within the Land Use
- - Element- the General Plan for the following areas, shown on the
attached Exhibit "A ":

1. Commercial Center Industrial
2. Commercial Center Multi- Family Residential
3. Single - Family Residential Commercial
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of
