A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO FILE FOR URBAN PARKS AND
RECREATION RECOVERY ACT GRANT FUNDS.
M WHEREAS, the Urban Park and Recreation Recovery Act of
1978 established a grant program to assist communities in rehabilation
of park and recreation systems and
WHEREAS, the city of Lynwood has been determined eligible to
apply for said funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, City of
Lynwood, that the City Manager is authorized and directed to file this
grant application for $133,000.00 for rehabilitation projects at
Lynwood Community Center and Natatorium, and to provide such additional
information as may be required with respect to City of Lynwood's
participation in the program.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of
