Don R. Larson, being duly sworn, on oath says that he is the publisher or authorized agent and em-
ployee of the publisher of the newspaper known as The South Crow River News and has full knowl-
edge of the facts which are stated below:
(A) The newspaper has complied with all of the requirements constituting qualification as a legal
newspaper, as provided by Minnesota Statute 331.02, 331.06, and other applicable laws, as amended.
(B) The printed Medina - Ordinance No. 249
which is attached was cut from the columns of said newspaper, and was printed and published
once each week for 1 successive weeks; it was first published on Monday the

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING;
THE RURAL RESIDENTIAL-2 (RR-2)'
ZONING DISTRICT

MEDINA ORDAINS:
Section 1. The Medina City Code
Ordinances is hereby amended by a••
ing Section 826.26.1 to read as follows:

(RR-2). Subd. 1, Purpose. The purpose of
the RR-2 district -is to provide a zoning*
district which is similar to the Rural Resi4-
dential (RR) district but which also Derr

Subd. 4, Permitted Accessory Uses.
The -accessory uses permitted within the
RR-2 district are the same as those set
forth in Section 826.23 for the RR district.
Subd. 5.,Lot area and dimensions.

height standards for the RR-2 district are
the same as those set forth in Section
826.25 for the RR district.
Subd, 6. In addition to the requirements
of Section 825.39 and notwithstandin•
any other requirements to the contrary. no'
commercial riding stable may be estab-
fished in the RR-2 district except in com-
pliance with the following:
fal minimum lot area must be .5 acres
per horse boarded at the stable;
(b) hard surface coverage may not
exceed 11 percentage of the lot area. For
the purposes of this section, hard surface '
jncludes structurespaved areas drive-
ways and outdoor arenas
fc) there must be a primary structure
located on the property.
fd) there must be identified and accept-
able primary and alternate septic sites on.

(e) all animal feed and bedding must be
stored within an enclosed building

a method approved by the City and the
Minnesota pollution control agency and in
an approved location at least every six
