Tank tightness test passed, currently evaluating installation of pumps or above ground tanks depending upon EPA, DEQ requirements. Golf   COMPLETED 11/1/04 Golf Course Equipment Purchases Mower fund purchases to date: 2 greens mowers, 1 trim mower, 2 sets of cutting units, and 1 set of verticut units. $3,900 remaining was spent on the Cutter equipment purchases; we have purchased another fairway mower for $3,500 with funding through the Men’s Golf Association. Golf   UPDATE 11/1/04 Golf Course Equipment Needs In addition to the mower fund and Cutter Purchases, additional equipment is needed, we budgeted FY 04-05 for rough mowing equipment to complete our immediate needs. We need safety equipment and new shop upgrades. Cost and options for these items are currently under development. Golf   COMPLETED 11/1/04 Golf Course Equipment Golf Management Committee authorized $15,000 from the golf foundation to be used towards purchasing additional equipment. We purchased a fairway mower, two greens mowers, a fairway sprayer and a utility vehicle from Cutter Equipment. Total purchases were $23,000 with the balance to be subsidized by the City of McCall. Golf   UPDATE 11/1/04 Golf Course Committee Next scheduled meeting TBD. Golf   UPDATE 11/1/04 Equipment Repairs Equipment steam cleaned, preventative maintenance and ongoing maintenance continuing. Golf   COMPLETED 11/1/04 Clubhouse Repairs Holes repaired in clubhouse walls. Overhead lighting repairs initiated. Bids for repair of kitchen floor complete. Construction of outside storage complete except roofing material. Range hood fan and motor replaced. Painting of clubhouse complete, landscaping completed. Insurance claims for roof ice damage turned in, repairs completed. Golf   COMPLETED 11/1/04 Asphalt Repairs Final asphalt repairs were completed at the clubhouse cart storage area. Cart path repair on #6 green to be completed as Public Works can complete grading work in preparation this fiscal year. Golf   UPDATE 11/1/04 Golf Greens All greens winterized, treated chemically for snow mold protection, fertilized and aerated. Golf   NEW 11/1/04 Dumpster Relocation Grading complete, concrete slab installed. Wall construction 70% complete, gate to be installed. Golf   COMPLETE 11/1/04 Professional Development Director of Golf Operations attended the GCSAA Conference. OSHA compliance, hazard assessment and safety seminars complete. IDGCSA Conference in Jackson, WY Sept 29th  Golf   UPDATE 11\1/04 Personnel Currently one seasonal employee on staff and four full-time employees. One full-time employee will plow snow at the airport 40 hrs/week for golf fund budget relief. We have hired a golf course mechanic. Golf   COMPLETE 11/1/04 Golf Course Entrance Roadside to be burned the week of June 7th, seeding of wildflowers completed, irrigation repairs completed. Golf   UPDATE 11/1/04 Continuing Education City Arborist CEU’s needed to complete recertification – 10, to be completed by 12-04 City Arborist   UPDATE 11/1/04 Golf Course Trees Many hazard trees identified and removed, annual tree inspection on-going. City Arborist   COMPLETE 11/1/04 Brown Park Trees High Mountain Nursery replaced ten trees at Brown Park for a total of $2,200, total tree replacement scheduled will be 15 trees installed for $3,000. City Arborist   NEW 11/1/04 Tree Ordinance Tree Committee is currently working on re-wording the Tree ordinance as well as strengthening the penalties for un-authorized tree work or removal. City Arborist   COMPLETED 11/1/04 Tree Committee John Lillehaug expressed interest in joining the tree committee. Appointment to be confirmed on October 14th. City Arborist   COMPLETED 10/1/04 Tree Committee Committee completed a walk through of the hazardous fuel reduction site near the airport. The committee has formed a list of recommendations for the contract removal of trees and clean-up. City Arborist   NEW 11/1/04 Revenue/Rate Analysis Currently evaluating volume of play and revenue while estimating rate structure scenario’s Golf   NEW 11/1/04 Golf Course Construction #9 tee and # 7 tee on the Aspen Course have been rebuilt along with re-shaping the old #6 green. A cart path section will be asphalted next spring and seal coated when the parking lot is seal coated. Golf
