RESOLUTION NO. 83 -66
A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL APPROVING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT WITH SHELTER VENTURES
CORPORATION FOR PRELIMINARY HOUSING CONSULTANT
SERVICES FOR A NONPROFIT PROJECT UNDER SECTION 202.
WHEREAS, on February 17, 1983, a contract was executed be-
tween the City of Lynwood and Shelter Ventures Corporation to prepare an
application for funding of a Section.202 housing project, and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that the contract should contain
a separate provision for payment to Shelter Ventures Corporation in the
event that the City determines,that no application should be submitted
for a Section 202 housing project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby find, deter-
mine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the contract shall be amended to provide
for payment to Shelter Ventures Corporation in the event that the
City determines that no application should be submitted for a Section
202 housing project.
Section 2 . That the Mayor is authorized to execute the amend-
ment to the contract.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of
JUNE , 1983.
