RESOLUTION NO. 83 -69A
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD SPECIFYING CITY COUNCIL BENEFITS
WHEREAS, City Council'salaries are governed by statute,
WHEREAS, the benefits for City employees are detailed in Comprehensive
Memoranda of Understanding, and
WHEREAS, there should be consistency in the administration of benefits
to the greatest extent possible; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has advised that there should be a compre-
hensive statement of City Council benefits,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows
SECTION 1 That the following benefits shall be accorded City
Council members:
1. City payment of the 7% "employee" contribution to
the Public Employees' Retirement System effective
with the period ending July 2, 1983
2. Enrollment in the City's paid dental program
3. Enrollment in the City's health insurance program
and the same City contribution to such premiums as
is accorded other City employees beginning with the
month of July 1983.
4. Up to $10,000 life insurance
5. Mileage reimbursement at the rate of .21G /mile for
travel and meetings.
SECTION 2 : This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of JUNE
1983
