Home My Public Portal About83-071 (06-21-83)A RESOLUTION NO. 83 -71 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD SETTING FORTH THE SALARIES BY CLASSIFICATION OF ITS OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, negotiations w,_th employee associations were concluded in August, 1983, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopted Comprehensive Memoranda of Understanding with all employee associations, the City Manager and City Clerk on August 17, 1982; and WHEREAS, the adopted Comprehensive Memoranda of Understanding were for a two (2) year term, expiring June 30, 1984, and WHEREAS, a salary resolution for fiscal year 1983 -84, which includes negotiated adjustments beginning in July 1983, should be adopted. NOW, THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows SECT 1 That Resolution No 62 -43 of the City of Lynwood, adopted on the 3rd day of July, 1962, prescribes the time and method of paying salaries and wages of the officers and employees of said City, as required by Section 37106 of the Government Code of the State of California SECTION 2 That the salaries and wages for officers and employees for the various classifications falling within the schedules are attached hereto and made a part hereof SEC'T'ION 3 That all wage and benefit provisions of the Comprehensive Memo- randa of Understanding between the City of Lynwood and Employee Associa- tions, the City Manager and the City Clerk, as adopted on August 17, 1982 are made a part of this Resolution SECTION 4 That this Resolution and all attached Exhibits (A through F) shall be amended as required by provisions of Comprehensive Memoranda of Understanding adopted on August 17, 1982, or as the need arises SECTION 5 That if any provision of adopted Comprehensive Memoranda of Understanding, or this Resolution, is at any time or in any way held to be contrary to any law by any court of proper jurisdiction, the remainder of the Memoranda and the remainder of this Resolution shall not be affec- ted thereby and shall remain in full force and effect SECTION 6 .
