A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING A FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE REIM-
BURSABLE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES AND THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FOR THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, on November 10, 1981, the City entered into an
Agreement with the County of Los Angeles regarding cooperation in
undertaking activities authorized by the Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974, as amended, and
WHEREAS, on April 5, 1983, the City Council approved
the preparation of an application for ninth year CDBG funds, and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has prepared a Contract
amendment, amendment #4, for implementation of ninth year CDBG projects,
and
projects.
WHEREAS, the City desires to implement ninth year CDBG
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, as follows
Section 1 That the Contract attached as Exhibit 1 is
hereby approved and the Mayor authorized to execute. A
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of
June , 1983.

THIS AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT made this lst da o f July
19 83 by the County of Los Angeles hereinafter called the "County" and the
CITY OF LYNWOOD hereinafter the "Operating Arend
WITNESSETH THAT:.
WHEREAS, the County and the Operating Agency, previously entered into an Amen&
Cc munity Development Block Grant Program Reimbursable Contract with Governmental Agency,
Contract No. 40896 , dated December 22, 1981 and amended
July 1, 1982, August 5, 1982 and March 29, 19
WHEREAS, !County and Operating Agency desire to anend said contract in order tha
Operating Agency may better implement the-projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual undertakings herein, the parties
agree that said Contract No. 40896 be amended as follows:
1. SECTION. 2,- "SCOPE OF SERVICES ", is. amended as follows:

pensaticn.amount of: $2.734,172. This is an increase of $769,915
to the contract amount.
4. All other tears and conditions of said contract shall remain the same..
