A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY
FACILITIES REHABILITATION PROJECT TO BE FUNDED
WITH REPROGRAMMED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has received approval of
an application for funding of a community facilities rehabilita-
tion project using federal Urban Parks and Recreation Recovery ( UPARR)
funds, and
WHEREAS, matching Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
funds in the amount of $57,000 are required to supplement the UPARR
funds and complete the project, and
WHEREAS, CDBG funds from prior years are available for
reprogramming, and
WHEREAS, the project represents an eligible expenditure
of block grant funds, and
WHEREAS, the project is categorically exempt from the pro-
visions of the California Environmental Quality Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows
Section 1 . Staff be authorized to prepare any forms and
documentation required by the County of Los Angeles and the federal
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Section 2 . The Mayor, City Manager, or Community Develop-
ment Director be authorized to sign any required forms to imple-
ment the project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of
