A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A BLANKET CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES AND THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) -
JOBS BILL PROJECTS FUNDING.
WHEREAS, the Emergency Jobs Bill signed by the President on
March 24, 1983 made funds available for additional CDBG projects; and
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles, as the urban county
has allocated a portion of the Jobs Bill funds received to the City
of Lynwood,
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has prepared a blanket
contract, in the amount of $352,379, which outlines the relationship
between the City and County for the operation of CDBG -Jobs Bill Projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows
Section 1 . That the attached contract is hereby approved.
Section 2 . That the Mayor be authorized to execute.
