A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 81 -164 BY ADDING
A SURCHAGE TO COVER COSTS ASSOCIATES WITH IMPLE-
MENTATION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA ENERGY STANDARDS.
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1981, Resolution No. 81 -164
was adopted which set fees for City and - -
WHEREAS, on July 15, 1981 new State energy regulations
were adopted by the California, Energy Commission, and

WHEREAS, as these regulations are implemented, local juris-
dictions incur additional plan checking and inspection costs, and
WHEREAS, the State of California allows that these costs
be charged directly to the project applicant, and
WHEREAS, the City can account for the actual costs of
these services provided to the applicant.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows
Section 1 . That a; surcharge of ten percent (10 %) be added
to the cost of any building permit fee for structures subject to State
Energy Cons(XVation Regulations, Title 24, Part 2, of the California
Administrative Code.
Section 2. That the plan check fee will be sixty -five
(65 %) percent of the increased' building permit fee.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPT-ED this 19th day of
JULY , 1983.
