RESOLUTION NO. 83 -103
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF
ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) FROM THE
GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF HAVING A
LEGAL ANALYSIS DONE OF AB 377.
WHEREAS, The Legislature of the State of California has
adopted AB 377, which would forgive past property tax misallocation
and freeze the City tax rate for pension costs for two years; and
WHEREAS, The City believes that AB 377 is an infringement
on its rights of taxation; and
WHEREAS, This City, and eleven (11) other cities, are in-
terested in analyzing legal options relative to AB 377:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HEREBY AUTHORIZES THE CITY
MANAGER TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING APPROPRIATIONS:
