RESOLUTION NO. 83 -104
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF THE FREEWAY AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood pursuant
to Section 100.22 of Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, has held a public hearing on a proposed Freeway
- Agreement covering the Route 7 freeway between the Paramount
city limit at Summerdal Street and the South Gate city Limit at
Imperial Highway and the Route 105 freeway between the city
limit at Mona Boulevard and city limit near Route 7, on the 16th
day of August, 1983; and
WHEREAS, notices of said hearing were published and posted
in time, form, and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, all environment concerns have been properly
addressed in the "Final Environmental Impact Statement for the
Proposed Routes 1 and I -105 (E1 Segundo - Norwalk) Freeway- -Tran
sitway" dated October 10, 1978;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE - IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows:
SECTION 1 : That the Freeway Agreement attached hereto as
Exhibit A is hereby adopted, approved and ratified; and
SECTION 2 : That the Mayor of the City of Lynwood is
authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on
- -- behal -f -of the City of Lynwood; and.
SECTION 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
