A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING THE REQUIRED FOR THE
TRAFFIC SIGNAL TIMING AND OPTIMIZATION FOR FUEL
EFFICIENCY PROJECT
WHEREAS, funds have been established and are made available
through the California Energy for grants to local
governments for efficient traffic signal management projects; and
WHEREAS, The California Energy Commission approved the grant
application on December 1, 1982, for $32,370 to time thirty (30)
signalized intersections within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Signal Timing and Optimization for Fuel
Efficient Project started March 9, 1983 and will continue until
December 31, 1983.
'WHEREAS, The has studied this project and'this
appropriation and its budget implications;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to make the
following ap rp opriations and estimated revenues:

Traffic Safety Fund
Fund Balance $16,529

Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August, 1983.
