HomeMy Public PortalAboutPolice Summary April 2004POLICE DEPARTMENT SUMMARY April 1 - 30, 2004 Reports Filed * The Police Department filed 38 new Reports, which contained 50offenses: 30 Misdemeanors, which includes the following offenses  5 Arrest Warrant 1 Controlled Substance 1 Disturbing the Peace 1 Domestic Battery 1 DUI 2 DWP 1 Fail to Purchase Drivers License 1 Fail to Register as Sex Offender1 Hit & Run 1 Malicious Injury to Property 6 Minor Possess Alcohol 1 Miscellaneous Incident 1 Resisting Arrest 1 Runaway 3 Theft 1 Unlawful Entry 2 Vandalism  5 Felonies  2 Arrest Warrant 1 Aid & Abet 1 Check Case 1 Homicide - Attempted  * Reports are Counted by Case Number issued. There may be multiple persons involved and multiple charges filed. Arrests ** The Police Department made 20 Physical Arrests which resulted in the following charges: 20 Misdemeanors  5 Arrest Warrant 1 Controlled Substance 1 Disturbing the Peace 1 DUI 2 DWP 1 Fail to Purchase Drivers License 1 Fail to Register as Sex Offender 1 Malicious Injury to Property 6 Minor Possess Alcohol 1 Resisting Arrest 1 Runaway 1 Theft 4 Felonies  1 Aid & Abet 2 Arrest Warrant1 Homicide - Attempted ** Arrests are counted by person. One person may have multiple charges which are listed separately. All arrests are included by DR in the “Reports Filed” section. Incidents/Calls for Service *** The Police Department responded to 291 incidents/calls for service which includes the following sampling: 10 911 responses which resulted in arrest 26 Responses which resulted in arrest 25 Responses concerning dogs 6 Responses which were cancelled en route 2 Responses as backup for the fire department 1 Responses as backup for hazardous materials complaints 15 Responses requesting information or giving information 123 Responses which resulted in an enforcement action 3 Responses as backup for a medical incident 55 911 responses 17 Public service responses 1 Responses to assist the marine patrol 5 Responses to vehicle accidents 2 Service of civil papers *** Agency assists are not included in the above numbers unless the McCall Officer was the only responder.
