A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD CERTIFYING NEGATIVE DECLARATIONS FOR
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS FUNDED
THROUGH THE EMERGENCY JOBS BILL.
- WHEREAS, the City Council-of the City of Lynwood entered
into an Agreement with the County of Los Angeles on November 10, 1981
regarding cooperation in undertaking activities authorized by the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, and
WHEREAS, on May 17, 1983, the City Council approved Com-
munity Development B1ock.Grant funding for certain Projects funded
through the Emergency Jobs Bill; and
WHEREAS, in order to implement these Projects, the City
must comply with the California Environmental Quality Act and prepare
an environmental assessment; and
WHEREAS, staff has determined that the Projects: JB385
(Alley Reconstruction); JB386 (Storm Drain Construction); and JB387
(Street Reconstruction) will not have a significant effect on the en-
vironment and has prepared a Negative Declaration for each Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows
Section 1 . The City Council hereby certifies the Nega-
tive Declaratiors prepared for Projects JB385, JB386, and JB387.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this
