RESOLUTION NO. 83 -98
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBERS 81 -49 AND
83 -71 TO INCLUDE PLANNING DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted Resolu-
tion No. 81 -49 which revised the Employee Classification and Position Plan and
has amended same as needed, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted Resolution
No. 83'-71 which sets forth salaries for the fiscal year and may amend same as
necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has authorized a Plan-
ning Director position; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood wishes to include the
attached classification statement for Planning Director (Exhibit A) in the Employee
Classification and Position Plan; and ,
WHEREAS, a salary survey indicates that 7M would be an appropriate salary
range for Planning Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
determine, order and resolve as follows
Section 1 : That Resolution Number 81 -49, the Employee Classification
and Position Plan, is amended to include the attached clas-
sification statement for Planning Director (Exhibit A).
Section 2 : That Exhibit B, the management salary schedule, of Resolu-
tion 83 -71, the - -salary resolution, is amended to add the
title of Planning Director to the 7M range
Section 3 This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
