RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DESIGNATING THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
AS ITS AGENT FOR SERVICE OF PROCESS PURSUANT TO
REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE SECTION 5149
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby designated as the
City's agent for service of process pursuant to Revenue and
Taxation Code Section 5149 in connection with actions for the
refund of taxes brought pursuant to Article 2 of Chapter 5 of
Part 9 of Division 1 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately and
shall remain in effect until withdrawn by the City.
3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
transmit a copy of this Resolution to the County Clerk and the
office of the County Counsel.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of
September, 1983.
