RESOLUTION NO. 83-141
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNNnOD AMENDING RESOLUTION 81-164
(FEE SCHEDULE) TO INCLUDE FEES FOR LOCATION
FILMING WITHIN THE CITY OF LYNNOOD
WHEREAS, the Code of the City of Lynwood establishes certain*
fees in an amount to be determined by a resolution of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that there is a need to
regulate location filming of motion picture/television/and
commercial production companies in order to protect the health,
safety, welfare, and property of City residents",
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby resolve as follows:
W+igU_1. Resolution 81~164 (Fee Schedule) is hereby
amended to include
A} An application fee of $100 for location
filming within the City.
8) A Special Permit fee of $200 for each
24 ho//r period beginning at the time the
,PrPPo��nt fjrs�t gccupiesi`, the -location_
within the City and terminates at the
completion of clean-up activities.
C) An inspection and on-site monitoring fee
for City staff time at the following
rates:
Building Inspector $22 / hr.
Public Works Engineer $21 / hr.
Fire Chief $37 / hr.
Deputy Sheriffs $30 / hr"
D) Reimbursement for City owned' equipment-
and materials used during inspection and
monitoring upon presentation of an
itemized billing.
E} A bond in an amount sufficient to cover
the costs of clean-up of the site after
filming. Completion of clean-up
activities shall be determined by the
senior building inspector. �
Section 2. Severabilitv" If, any section, subsection,
subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this
resolution or the application thereof to any person or place, is
for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the
decision of any court or competent jurisdiction, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
resolution or its application to other persons or places" The
City Council hereby declare, that it would have adopted this
resolution, and each section thereof, irrespective of the fact
that any one or more sertions, subsection, sentence, clause,
phrase, or portion, or the application thereof to any person or
place, be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
