RESOLUTION NO. 83 -144
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF ($11,502.00) ELEVEN
THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED, TWO DOLLARS FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
FUNDS OF THE GARAGE FUND BALANCE FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
PARK MAINTENANCE MOWER
WHEREAS, at its'June 8, 1983, Budget Hearing the City Council
approved a capital outlay expenditure for purchasing a park maintenance
mower; and
WHEREAS, due to unanticipated coordination problems between the
garage division, Recreation and Parks Department, and administration the
item was inadvertently left out of the 1983 -84 budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that purchase of the
park maintenance mower is vital to the operations of the Recreation and
Parks Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied this appropriation and its
budget implications;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Manager is authorized to make the
following appropriation:

MACHINERY and EQUIPMENT
Section 2 . This Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon adoption.
