RESOLUTION NO. 83 -146
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF NINE
HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($975) FROM THE
GENERAL FUND AND TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1200)
FROM THE WATER FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR
ADDITIONAL COLLECTION EXPENSE AND ADDITIONAL STAFF
TRAINING.
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to utilize
collection agencies in the pursuit of delinquent accounts, and
WHEREAS, the costs associated with the collection efforts
of the City are exceeding those anticipated, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to provide
on -going training for City staff, and
WHEREAS, 'the costs associated with the training of City
staff exceeds those anticipated in the 1983 -84 City of Lynwood
Budget, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied this appropriation and
its budget implications;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That the City Manager is authorized to make the
following appropriations:

General Fund Fund Balance $975
Water Fund Fund Balance $1200
TO
1- 4301 -2312 $800
Accounting Collection Expense
1- 4301 -2301 $175
Accounting Travel & Meeting
2- 4302 -2312 $1200
Water Billing & Collection
Collection Expense
Section 2 . This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 15th day of
November, 1983.
