A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION
OF AN ADDITIONAL TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS IN COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS TO PROJECT 83C -384
COMMUNITY CENTER REHABILITATION (CIP Project No.5 -5041)
WHEREAS, the City Council bid the Community Development
Commission have previously approved the use of $62,000 in CDBG
funds for the rehabilitation of the Community Center and Natatorium,
and,
WHEREAS, the low bid received for the construction
work exceeded estimates by $12,000, and
WHEREAS, the additional monies can be provided with
Block Grant Funds that are available for reprogramming upon approval
by the Community Development Commission.
NOW,THFREF.ORE,., the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1 . That City staff be authorized to prepare the
necessary forms and documents to request the additional funding from
the Community Development Commission.
Section 2 . The City Manager is authorized to make the
following appropriation:

- Capital.Improvement Fund
Fund-Balance $12,000
To
5=5041.City Park
Rehab $12,000
Section 3 . The City Manager is authorized to make the
following estimated revenue:

Local Cash Grants & HCDA Fund
Reimbursements $12,000 Fund Balance $12,000
Section 4 . The City Manager is authorized to make the
