A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF
($9,163.00) NINETY -ONE HUNDRED, SIXTY -THREE a
DOLLARS FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS OF THE
GARAGE FUND BALANCE FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN
ASPHALT PATCH TRUCK.
WHEREAS, the 1983 -84 fiscal Budget provides for the
purchase of an Asphalt Patch Truck; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the
purchase of an Asphalt Patch Truck is a much needed acquisition
for the Street Maintenance Division's operations; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the aforementioned Asphalt
Patch-Truck was $55,000.00, and the low bid of $64,163x06 leaves
a deficit of $9,163.00 for the Asphalt Patch Truck purchase; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied this appropriation
and its budget implications;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 . That the City Manager is authorized to make
the following appropriation:

Garage Fund,
Fund Balance $9,163.00 3- 4410 -3102 $9,163.00
AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of December
1983.
