ORDINANCE NO.23-2016
AN APPROPRIATION (TRANSFER) ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2016 BUDGET
WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for calendar
year 2016 on October 19, 2015 with Ordinance 59-2015; and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, The transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total amount set
out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, This transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and without
the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2016 budget be amended as follows:
A. 101-General Fund -City Clerk's Office
Delete $100.00 from Other Services & Charges- Postage
Account No. 101.03.030.110.000.3220
Delete $200.00 from Other Services & Charges -Travel
Account No. 101.03.030.110.000.3240
3. Delete $100.00 from Other Services & Charges -Subscriptions and Dues
Account No. 101.03.030.110.000.3910
4. Delete $100.00 from Other Services & Charges -Training and Education
Account No. 101.03.030.110.000.3911
Add $500.00 to Capital Outlays -Computer Equipment
Account No. 101.03.030.110.000.4435
