OF LINCOLN AVENUE AND ROOSEVELT AVENUE FOR
PATIENT PARKING
WHEREAS, a need exists for limited parking on the South side
of Lincoln Avenue for use by patients of the medical facility
located on the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue;
and
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:48-
2.46 that the South side of Lincoln Avenue beginning 25 feet
East of the Southwestern corner of the intersection of
Roosevelt and Lincoln Avenue and extending 60 feet Easterly
therefore, shall be designated patient parking only during the
hours of 9:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, one
(1) hour limit.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Traffic Department is hereby
directed to post the appropriate markings in accordance with
the current manual or uniform traffic control devices for
streets highways;
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, the penalties of any violation of this
ordinance shall be in accordance with Section 254-18 of the
code of the Borough of Carteret.
