ACCEPTING AND APPROVING REQUESTS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
FOR 2013 MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE
WHEREAS, in January 2013, the Borough issued a Request for Qualifications ( "RFQ ")
soliciting responses for the provision of professional services for Municipal Court Judge;
and
WHEREAS, the RFQ's were solicited pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance with
the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A -20.5; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Clerk's Office has on file the submitted responses to the RFQ's and
WHEREAS, the Borough has submitted the responses submitted and is desirous of
accepting and /or approving the responses to the RFQ's from the attached list of
professional services entities for the respective professional services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. That these professional services entities which are on file in the Clerk's Office are
hereby approved to provide the respective professional services.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant N.J.S.A. 40A:11- 5(1)(a).
3. That this award is pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance with the
provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A -20.5.
Adopted this 7th day of February, 2013 and
certified as a true copy of the original on
February 8, 2013.
