A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
REGARDING CONDITIONAL USES IN REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
AREAS.
_ WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency wishes to imple-
ment the Redevelopment Plan,
WHEREAS, in order to implement the Plan, it is advisable
that the Agency review all conditional uses permitted within the Pro-
ject Areas and determine consistency with the Plan, and
WHEREAS, in order to insure that the Agency prevail in
the denial of conditional uses within the Project Areas determined
to be inconsistent with the Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows.
Section 1 . The provisions contained in LRA Resolution
No. 83 -29 adopted on September 20, 1983, are hereby revoked.
Section 2 . Agency staff will review any conditional use
permitted by the Lynwood Municipal Code within a Redevelopment Pro-
ject Area in order to determine consistency with the Redevelopment
Plan and submit appropriate findings and recommendations to the
Planning Division.
Section 3 . The Executive Director is authorized to appeal
any Planning Commission decision of approval of a-conditional use
permit within the Project Areas to the City Council in order to in-
sure consistency with the plan.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of January
1984.
