A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT FOR
AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA "A"
AND AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION TO
AFFECTED TAXING AGENCIES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood established
a Redevelopment Agency for the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council established Redevelopment
Project Area "A" in accordance with California Community
Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, Section 33000 et
seq.); and
WHEREAS, Project Area "A" has been amended by the City
Council of the City of Lynwood on two (2) previous occasions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has taken
necessary steps` to initiate Amendment No. 3 to Project Area "A"
by adopting a Survey Area and securing the adoption of Amendment
No. 3, Project Area "A ", boundaries by the Lynwood Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Planning Commission has also approved a
Preliminary Plan for Amendment No. 3 to Redevelopment Project
Area "A "; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33344.5 of the Health and
Safety Code, the Agency is to prepare and send to affected taxing
agencies a Preliminary Report, which shall contain:
(a) The reasons for the selection of the Amended Project
Area;
(b) A description of the physical, social, and economic
conditions existing in the Amended Area;
(c) A preliminary assessment
financing the redevelopment of

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by th e
Agency as follows:
Section 1. The Agency approves and

authorized and directed to transmit the Preliminary Report for
