Call to Order
Chair Whitney called the meeting to order at 2 ; 02pm and read the information on conducting the meeting
remotely .
Consent Agenda
• Letter of Support for State Leadership on Development and Implementation of Comprehensive
Coronavirus Antibody Testing
• Postponement of Real Estate Tax Bills & Waiver of Fees, Penalties and Interest of Late Payments
Mr . Lombardi gave a brief explanation on Section 10 ( a ) ( kiii ) and 11 of Chapter 53 of the Acts of 2020 . Section
10 ( a ) ( i - 111 ) allows the municipal chief officer to delay the due date for municipal property tax bills to June 1 ,
and Section 11 allows the municipal chief officer to waive interest and other late payment fees on late
payments that were due after March 10, 2020 and paid before June 30, 2020 . The waiver of late payment
fees not only applies to real estate tax payments, but also to late payments of any excise tax, betterment
assessment or apportionment thereof, water rate or annual sewer use or other charge added to a tax for any
payments .
Selectperson deRuyter moved to approve the consent agenda as recommended by Administration ,
Selectperson Chaffee second . The Board voted ; Selectperson Bingham — Yes, Selectperson deRuyter — Yes,
Selectperson Chaffee — Yes, Chair Whitney — Yes .
Executive Session
Chair Whitney stated that the Executive Session has been cancelled and will not be taking place .
