City website update: Website visits in March 2011 totaled 9,047. Site visits are averaging about 12,000 per month over the past year. Over 812,000 visits have been logged since tracking
began in 2003.
New website development is nearly complete, currently doing content rewrites, fine tuning and document migration. Plan to have new site up in May, pending content revisions from all
departments.

Emergency power generation for City Hall is now in project scoping and moving to RFPs using budgeted funding, due for completion FY11. Three contractors have been contacted and load
analysis is in progress.
Participating in Public Works remodel with network cabling for new offices, and relocation of existing network equipment to new closet space.

Energy Efficiency
Energy savings in City Hall after building retrofits is 32% in the first month over month comparison (March 2010/2011). More data will be needed to accurately demonstrate the savings.
We have received approval for an Idaho Power rebate for power savings when computer systems are managed to comply with Energy Star standards. We’re developing a server-enforced policy
that will bring our desktop and laptop computers into compliance. Implementation should net the City both a short-term rebate and long-term reduced power costs.

City Hall copier
A new City Hall copier is in service and working well. It features new capabilities, higher speed, and lower monthly cost. Reliability is excellent so far.
